This week I’d like to present Katy Perry’s current hit single, “Hot ‘N’ Cold” (= Hot and Cold).
With its catchy melody and its upbeat tempo, there is no surprise why this song is on every music chart. ‘Hot and cold’ is an expression to describe when someone treats you in an inconsistant way (ภาษาไทยคงแปลได้ว่า “เดี๋ยวดี เดี๋ยวร้าย”). For example, one day he is sweet to you and says he loves you but the next day, he treats you badly and says he doesn’t care.
The video is funny, too. You see, the 80’s is back!
The priest: Katy, do you take Alexander to be your lawful wedded husband?
Katy: I do.
